We have been made aware that the new Convergence released with the Visions of Eternity: Code of Creation chapter, Nexus of Eternity, can stall and prevent completion of the instance if players collect 50 or more essences before both portals have opened following the initial holdout event.
While we are working on a solution for an upcoming hotfix, players can avoid the issue by ensuring that both portals have fully opened before collecting essences. It should only take approximately 5 seconds for both portals to open, after which collecting 50+ essences should no longer result in a stalled event.
