How to Whitelist Guild Wars 2 Emails Across Popular Email Providers

In line with updates to our newsletter email system, newsletters will now be sent from guildwars2@email.arena.net instead of guildwars2@mail.ncsoft.com. To ensure you continue receiving important Guild Wars 2 news without issues, please whitelist the new email address.

This guide will show you how to whitelist guildwars2@email.arena.net across several popular email providers.

1. Gmail.com

  1. Open Gmail and log in to your account.
  2. Click the gear icon in the top right corner and select See all settings.
  3. Navigate to the Filters and Blocked Addresses tab.
  4. Scroll down and click on Create a new filter.
  5. In the From field, enter guildwars2@email.arena.net
  6. Click on Create filter.
  7. Check the box next to Never send it to Spam.
  8. Click Create filter again to save.

2. Yahoo.com

  1. Open Yahoo Mail and log in to your account.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner and select More Settings.
  3. On the left side, click Filters.
  4. Click Add new filters.
  5. Name the filter (e.g., "Guild Wars 2").
  6. Under From, choose Contains from the drop-down.
  7. Type in guildwars2@email.arena.net and tick the Match case checkbox
  8. Under Choose a folder to move to type in Guild Wars 2 as the folder name.
  9. Click Save to apply the filter.

3. AOL.com

  1. Open AOL.com and log in to your account.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner and select More Settings.
  3. On the left side, click Filters.
  4. Click Add new filters.
  5. Name the filter (e.g., "Guild Wars 2").
  6. Under From, choose Contains from the drop-down.
  7. Type in guildwars2@email.arena.net
  8. Under Choose a folder to move to type in Guild Wars 2 as the folder name.
  9. Click Save to apply the filter.

4. Outlook.com / Hotmail.com

  1. Open Outlook and log in to your account.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner and select View all Outlook settings.
  3. Navigate to Mail > Junk email.
  4. Under Safe senders and domains, click Add.
  5. Enter guildwars2@email.arena.net and press click OK.
  6. Click Save to confirm the changes.

5. ProtonMail.com

  1. Open ProtonMail and log in to your account.
  2. Click on the Settings icon in the top right corner and select All Settings in the right sidebar.
  3. Navigate to Filters in the left sidebar.
  4. Click on Add address or domain and select Allow.
  5. Select email and type in guildwars2@email.arena.net
  6. Click on Add address.
  7. Once done, the added email address will be under the Allow list to ensure critical messages don't end up in spam and getting missed.
