Twitch Drop Campaign: May 23rd - May 28th, 2023 - UPDATE

UPDATE 5/31/23 - Last week's Guild Wars 2 Twitch Drops event ended a few hours earlier than expected. The event was supposed to last until 11:59 pm PDT (UTC-7) on May 28, and since that did not happen we want to offer a second opportunity for everyone interested to earn all of the Drops. We will be running the campaign again next week, from June 6 at 9 am PDT (UTC-7) to June 11 at 11:59 pm PDT (UTC-7). Details can be found at https://www.guildwars2.com/twitch-drops/.

 

We are running a Twitch Drops campaign, which begins May 23, 2023 at 9:00am PST, and ends on May 28, 2023 at 11:59pm PST. This campaign will run a bit differently than previous Twitch Drops campaigns, so see below for details.

The rewards in this campaign are as follows:

Now, for the difference in how this campaign will work:

  1. The second Drop (x3 Upgrade Extractor) will come in three parts, where players will receive one Extractor every 20 minutes.
  2. When players are on the second Drop, the Twitch inventory shows progress for the second Drop, but it will appear as though the third Drop (EoD T-shirt) is progressing as well, but it isn't. 
  3. Players will get the first Extractor after 20 minutes, then the progress toward that second Drop will restart.
  4. After 20 minutes, players will receive their second Extractor.
  5. After another 20 minutes, players will receive their third Extractor.
  6. Once players receive all three Extractors, progress will resume normally toward the third Drop (EoD T-shirt).

NOTE: You MUST make sure to link your Twitch Account to your GW2 Account prior to starting. For more information on how to do this, please see: https://www.guildwars2.com/en/twitch-drops/ 

Please make sure to allow the requisite amount of time for the second Drop. Support is aware of this difference in how the Drops are delivered, so it is unnecessary to submit a Support Ticket at this time.
